Subtle but not invisible notes of menthol and wood frame the mostly red berry fruit, spice and floral aromas. There is fine volume and intensity to the cool, restrained and sleekly muscular and well-detailed medium weight flavors that possess fine size and weight before terminating in a balanced if not refined and ever-so-slightly lean finale. Even though this packs good flavor authority it is not especially dense but it’s certainly very pretty. My sense is that this will fill out with a few years of bottle age as the tannins subside. 91/2021+
