For sale here is a pre-fire Leonard Catskill Model 35 -- 7' 3/2 3wt bamboo rod with a listed weight of 3 oz. The rod is in excellent+ refinished condition. All sections are full length and straight. The rod features characteristic Leonard, straw-colored cane. Ruby wraps with gold tipping at the winding check, male ferrules, and tip-tops. Petite, reverse twist English-style guides. Red agate stripping guide. Bronze hook keeper. Finely sculpted nickel silver checks. Classic, cigar grip 4 1/4" in length. The grip has been cleaned and is only lightly soiled. Bright nickel silver cap and ring reel seat with a mortised butternut spacer. The bright nickel silver ferrules are size 8/64 and 12/64 with a great fit. The rod weighed a dainty 2 3/8 oz. on our digital scale. The action is a very smooth medium. The rod includes its original tube and bag with hang tag intact complete with handwritten William Mills initials.
