The beautiful yellow flowers of this species rhododendron stand out on this upright grower that can reach 6' tall at maturity. Flower color can range from pale to bright yellow. Rich green foliage is complimented by incredibly crimson red new growth, which provides a unique and exceptional character to gardens and landscapes. 

This is usually an early midseason bloomer, so anticipate blossoms to start showing as early as March or into April. Place in full sun to partial shade. Hardy to 5°F when protected from windchill.
