This Class I Tibetan Handwriting Practice Book, titled "Ka (2)," is a meticulously crafted educational resource for young Tibetan students. Authored by Tenzin Wangdu, the book focuses on developing foundational handwriting skills. In 2003, the Department of Education (CTA) undertook a comprehensive revision, guided by valuable feedback from teachers and Tibetan cultural experts. This collaborative effort aimed to refine the content by "extracting the essence and discarding the dross," ensuring that only the most effective and relevant material remained. The revised edition was then distributed to schools, offering a polished and culturally enriched tool for Tibetan language education.
