SkookumSkookum rhododendron is an uncommon hybrid from Washington with a excellent form and a bounty of showy red trusses in spring. The full, rounded growth habit reaches around 4' tall x 4' wide at maturity. Its olive green foliage provides a lovely canvas for its blooms, and very nice character in the garden all year. Place Skookum in full sun to partial shade and well draining soil. It is hardy to 5F when protected from windchill.
