Details: These are beautiful Etruscan Revival drop earrings fabricated of buttery rich 18k bloomed gold. A round button ornament sits at the top, with an egg shape- all with granulation and filigree details. These are lightweight, comfortable, and chic to wear.

The Etruscan's were an influential ancient civilization that reigned Western Italy during the 8th-2nd centuries BC. Classical themes inspired the Etruscans to create beautiful, intricately crafted fine jewelry and objects for their nobility. Much of the ruins were excavated during the Georgian and Victorian Eras and a treasure trove of antiquities were found. The Victorians were especially enamored, re-creating timeless pieces in homage to these beautiful ancient treasures. These revivalist earrings are an excellent example of this.
