JAPAN BLUE JEANS
A denim brand based in Kojima, Okayama, one of the world’s most renowned denim-producing regions. Founded in 2011, Japan Blue Jeans was created to spread the quality of MADE IN JAPAN denim worldwide. The brand combines silhouettes recognized in Europe and the US with high-quality domestic materials to offer a new perspective on jeans.









Lightweight and Texture Combined
The fabric used is 8oz light denim, perfect for hot weather as it remains breathable, keeping you cool with its smooth texture. Despite its lightness, it features an eye-catching, real vintage-style fade, offering the charm of authentic denim aging.









Attention to Detail
The "1st" model, inspired by Levi’s, is characterized by a pocket with a contrasting fabric sewn only on the left chest. The front features two pleats to allow for easy movement while wearing the garment.



Additionally, the iconic copper cinch back, a detail from the "1st" model to adjust fit, is placed at the waist for added style.



The "red ear" selvage denim, known for its vintage charm, is another key feature. This type of selvage was added to prevent fraying at the fabric's edges during the weaving process, becoming a beloved detail among denim enthusiasts. 



Fun Split Back Design
The split back design, inspired by vintage jackets (46-inch sizes and larger), creates a T-shaped back. Due to limitations in weaving machines from that era, larger jackets were constructed with two back pieces, and Japan Blue Jeans creatively applies this design to all sizes.





Blending Vintage and Modern Elements
The wider body (approximately 1 inch or 2.5cm) and slightly longer length create a balanced silhouette, making it easy to pair with various items. The piece works well for both trendy wide-pants looks and sharp, slim-fit styles.
