The part of goalie gear that wears out the most is the knee protection. However, often the entire pad doesn't need to be replaced, just the padding. Some goalies choose to have multiple sets and regularly switch out their padding.

While this is largely a matter of personal preference, this padding is generally recommended for larger and heavier goalkeepers (over 80 kg). The padding is 1.5 cm thick.

Other available paddings include Mix (2 cm) and Soft (3 cm).
