The Lancer Tactical Gen 3 PDW M4 Carbine is an electric automatic airsoft rifle. It features a nylon polymer frame and a metal barrel assembly, with semi-automatic, full-automatic, and safe firing modes. The muzzle velocity ranges from 380 to 400 FPS with 0.20g BBs using the installed high FPS spring, and 330 to 350 FPS with 0.20g BBs using the included low FPS spring (note: the low FPS spring is not included for Canada). The rifle includes a 130-round high-speed mid-capacity magazine that is compatible with most M4 magazines.

The Lancer Tactical Gen 3 is Lancer Tactical's latest innovation, with most internal parts similar to the Proline series AEGs but featuring several new and upgraded components. The rifle is constructed with high-strength full polymer, making it lightweight yet extremely durable. It includes a built-in Zion Arms fully programmable electronic trigger unit that can be set to various burst modes, paired with the Lancer fast trigger for rapid BB firing.

Unlike the Gen 2, the Gen 3 rifles now come with a Deans connector, which saves space for higher capacity batteries. They come out of the box shooting at 380 to 400 FPS and include a low FPS spring for easy on-the-fly spring changes via the quick-change spring system accessed through the buffer tube. The reinforced metal Gen-2 gearbox includes ultra-smooth 8mm ball bearings, an 18:1 steel gear set, a steel teeth polycarbonate piston, a bearing spring guide, a rotary hop-up, and a 19,000 RPM high torque motor for consistent performance.

Additional features include a polished 6.03mm tightbore inner barrel for improved range and accuracy, a high-speed 130-round mid-capacity magazine for proper feeding and jam prevention, a newly designed textured pistol grip with front and back strap serrations for improved handling, a full-length 20mm top Picatinny rail for mounting optics, lights, lasers, and PEQ boxes, upgraded flip-up front and rear iron sights with quick deploy release, and a retractable stock for customizable comfort in any battle situation.
