A Garden Collection original! Inspired by monsoon season views through an arched window in my garden, this pendant captures the drama of geometric clouds and electric storms. A lightning bolt, gilded with 23K gold using the traditional Keum Boo technique, cuts through oxidized silver textured with organic detail. The contrast between precious gold and darkened silver creates striking visual depth. Features a 5mm checkerboard cut garnet accent stone.

What is Keum Boo?  An ancient gilding technique where thin layers of 24 karat gold are diffusion bonded to the fine silver using a miniature kiln, where silver is heated to approximately 650-850 degrees, This creates a permanent bond between the silver and gold.

Suspended from an 18" sterling silver oxidized chain, it's a wearable story of nature's raw power and quiet contemplation.
