The 9 foot Bonefish model is one of the most scarce rods in the entire Payne lineup. This rod features beautiful dark cane ranging from tones of pumpkin to dark caramel. Chestnut wraps with fine rust colored tipping. Black, gold, and rust at the winding check and male ferrules. Agate stripping guide and tip-tops. Western-style grip in near new condition. Uplocking screwlock reel seat with Payne's standard Spanish cedar spacer. Extension butt with rubber button. Ferrules sizes 12/64 and 18/64 with a perfect fit. Includes original aluminum ferrule plugs. The rod weighs 7 5/8 oz. The action is medium-fast. Comes with original bags, tubes with brass fittings (also in near new condition), and canvas cover. Dedicated tip tube, and one for mid and butt section. Each with respective bags. Tubes are cased in heavy canvas.
