ABOUT THE MEDIUM: A speeder bike blueprint hand-drawn by visual effects chief model maker Michael Glenn Fulmer for the production of Richard Marquand's Star Wars: Return of the Jedi. Fulmer drew this blueprint to coordinate Industrial Light & Magic's (ILM) construction of the speeder bike models for the Endor chase sequence.

This blueprint depicting bird's eye and left side views of a speeder bike, as well as sketches of a Biker Scout and various components such as "Handle Bar," "Foot Support Bar," and "Engine Block," comes from the collection of ILM model shop supervisor Lorne Peterson. It is rendered and annotated in pencil on Star Wars-branded drafting paper labeled "Scooter," dated "Apr 10/82," numbered "1178646618925," and initialed "M.G. Fulmer."
