The S17 is a wheel that is both beautiful and functional.  It comes with three bobbins, an onboard lazy kate, and the standard Louët flyer.  The single-treadle has excellent, light action thanks to the maintenance-free bearings on the drive wheel.  Because this is a bobbin-led (Irish tension) wheel, the ratios are built into the bobbins.  The included bobbins each have whorls for 1:5.5, 1:7.5, and 1:10.5.  High speed bobbins are available for separate purchase.

This wheel comes disassembled and unfinished, so you will need to paint, oil, or seal your wheel before using it.  Don't forget about the "Make it Your Own" promotion where you can get $200 in free fiber for sending Louët pictures of your decorated S17!
