For sale here is a rarely seen one-piece Orvis Superfine bamboo rod -- 6' 4-5wt . Serial #61212, made in 1970 by Ron White. The rod is in excellent+ condition. 

The rod features darkly tempered cane with dark molasses-colored wraps. The varnish on the wraps and script remains in pristine condition. Petite 5" cigar grip. The cork shows only the lightest of handling marks. Dual aluminum sliding band reel seat over a mortised cork spacer. Aluminum button butt cap. The rod weighs a svelte 2 oz. The action is medium fast. Though marked for a 6wt, a 4 or 5 weight line is better suited. Includes original grey bag and tube with blue and gold foil label. These rods are not often seen and especially not in this fine condition!
