COLONEL LTD Channeling Monsieur Balmain’s acclaimed architectural brilliance, Balmain Eyewear’s new Colonel frame spotlights an impressively complex construction, boldly pushing the classic navigator silhouette toward new possibilities. The oversized front relies on a remarkable rimless construction, with engraved side shields connected via B-branded rivets. A striking overall continuity is achieved by the addition of a distinctive rectangular lens, set between the nose and the top bridges. This daring advance in eyewear engineering comes in three color possibilities: the classic gold-and-black paired with dark-grey lenses; a matte black, black and dark-grey combo with flash-mirror lenses; and a rose-gold, brown-swirl and dark brown mix with black flash-mirror lenses. To further highlight the uniqueness of the Colonel frame, Balmain Eyewear will present the compelling new design in a special, limited-edition packaging. The sleek black case relies on a top gold-mirror house logo. Each package will also include a dedicated metallic card—in either black, gold or rose-gold—which will replicate the digits of the numbered Colonel frame.
