Developed with an average of 4x more available energy and 2x more plug voltage between 3000 to 5000 RPM. Compensates for inherent electronic delays by adjusting spark timing throughout the RPM range. Ignitor II has many of the same great features as Ignitor, but it's smarter. The Ignitor II unit senses the coil current level and uses a powerful microcontroller to adjust the dwell. Variable dwell helps maintain peak energy throughout the RPM range. The Ignitor II system develops up to 4 times more energy between 3000-5000 RPM than standard ignition systems. Improves high RPM performance when used with Flame-Thrower II's ultra-low resistance (0.6 ohm) 45,000 volt coil.
