Zinsser AllCoat Exterior Gloss (Solvent-Based) is a high-gloss, ultra-durable exterior paint formulated to deliver up to 15 years of protection across a wide range of surfaces including wood, metal, masonry, concrete, UPVC, plastic and cladding.

Its advanced silicon alkyd formula creates a low-maintenance, water-shedding finish that’s flexible, mould-resistant and exceptionally weatherproof. It can be applied in cold conditions down to 5°C, making it ideal for year-round exterior work.

Self-priming on previously painted or properly abraded glossy surfaces, this system is designed to resist cracking, chalking, blistering and flaking. It offers excellent colour retention and a mirror-like gloss finish that holds its sheen over time.

Available in white, black, and a full range of tintable colours (RAL, BS4800, NCS), it’s perfect for professional or DIY use on cladding, doors, windows, fascias, railings and more.

Surface Preparation

• Ensure surfaces are clean, dry, sound and free from dust, grease, oil or flaking paint.

• Remove all loose paint and sand back rough edges.

• Porous surfaces: moisture content must be below 12%.

• Treat any mould or mildew with a fungicidal wash and allow to dry.

• Previously painted glossy surfaces: abrade and degrease before painting.

• Priming Required on Bare Surfaces:

  • Wood: Prime with Zinsser Cover Stain®

  • Metal, masonry, UPVC, concrete: Prime with Zinsser Bulls Eye 123®

  • Knots/sap streaks: Spot-prime with Zinsser B-I-N®

• Plastisol must be weathered and properly cleaned.

• Powder-coated surfaces: Abrade, degrease and prime with Bulls Eye 123®

Directions for Use

• Stir thoroughly before use.

• Apply 2 full coats to prepared surface. A third coat is recommended for exposed areas (sills, fascias).

• Use synthetic brush, roller or airless sprayer.

• Apply when temperature is above 5°C and humidity below 85%.

• Avoid painting in direct sunlight, frost, rain or damp conditions.

• Allow 16 hours between coats.

• Clean tools and spills with white spirit immediately after use.

• Do not apply to exterior floors, decks or submerged surfaces.
