The intricate patterns featured in the steel grille were carefully selected to elevate the fine audio tuning that we were aiming for. Combined with the magnesium chassis, POET is visually striking and highly durable. The soft suede leather headrest and flexible titanium alloy headband promote exceptional ergonomics, distributing weight evenly for a snug fit that envelops you in comfort, making every listening session a delight.

To make your serviceability and pad-swapping experience as easy and accessible as it can be, we’ve integrated the magnetic ear pad system from our 2nd Generation LIRIC into POET as well.

[MZ6] CASING

Reinforced polymer housing designed to withstand the demanding 10,7 N load generated by the Hybrid Magnet Array.

[MZ6] PARUS DIAPHRAGM

A biaxially oriented, semi-crystalline polymer film with a remarkably low weight of 0.06 g and an expansive active area of 3507 mm².

[MZ6] HYBRID MAGNET ARRAY

Symmetrically placed on either side of the diaphragm, our neodymium magnets are arranged into a Hybrid Array to create a 0.3 Tesla Isodynamic magnetic field required for a uniform activation across the whole diaphragm surface.

Created by RINARO exclusively for Meze Audio, the MZ6 driver is a celebration of more than 8 years of extensive R&D. It is one of the most advanced and lightweight full-size planar magnetic drivers available to date.

ADVANTAGES OF A DUAL-DRIVEN VOICE COIL SYSTEM

The Isodynamic® Hybrid Array optimizes sound intensity distribution, particularly at frequencies above 10 kHz, leading to significantly enhanced spatial imaging and precise localization within the reproduced sound field.

SWITCHBACK COIL

Positioned in the upper section of the driver, the switchback coil is optimized for the efficient reproduction of lower frequencies, delivering a robust bass response.

SPIRAL COIL

The spiral coil, placed directly over the ear canal, excels at reproducing mid-to-high frequencies. This positioning enables direct transmission of sound waves into the ear, minimizing time delays and enhancing clarity.

AMTS

Our implementation of the Acoustic Metamaterial Tuning System technology relies on a precision-crafted metal component that strategically covers select openings in the driver frame, to effectively attenuate high-frequency peaks for a less fatiguing listening experience.

Originating from a sense of responsibility towards the environment and a desire to enhance your experience for as long as possible, we’ve designed the POET to be fully serviceable: from the replaceable earpads to the high-performance materials used, every part of the headphone chassis can be easily disassembled and serviced.
