Launched in 2019 by Mash Group, which operates brands like Cosme Kitchen and Snidel, UNDERSON UNDERSON is an underwear brand focused on "Japanese underwear made from washi paper." Using washi fibers in many of its products, the brand maximizes the natural functionality of washi, such as its absorbency, quick-drying, and antibacterial properties, offering items that are both practical and stylish.







Traditional Japanese Craftsmanship and Washi Fabric
The fabric used is "WASHIFABRIC" 1/40 bare jersey, made from fine yarn to achieve a lightweight finish. In addition to the smooth, cool touch typical of washi, the material offers excellent stretch and a perfect fit against the skin.

Furthermore, the fabric’s exceptional breathability ensures comfort, preventing any clinginess even when you sweat, allowing you to stay cool all day.

Just like cotton, this fabric is machine washable, and to maintain the functionality of the washi, we recommend using a non-silicone detergent during washing.



Washi and Forest Environment Cycle
The globally recognized multifunctional material "WASHIFABRIC" is created through an eco-friendly production and processing process. As trees reach maturity, they absorb CO2 at a slower rate, and the leftover parts from processing these trees are used as raw materials for WASHIFABRIC.

Under proper forest management, younger trees grow and absorb more CO2, creating a sustainable cycle that benefits the environment and produces more oxygen.
