The ASI 3413 Swing-Up Grab Bar provides extra security in your commercial washroom facilities without taking up space when not in use, making it the perfect solution for bathrooms and shower areas with limited room. The grab bar must be pulled downward into its horizontal position and remains securely stored against the wall in a folded, vertical position when not in use. A specialized tension control system prevents the bar from falling down or randomly dropping into position. The tubing used to craft the bar is made of type-304, 18-gauge stainless steel and measures 1-1/4 inches in diameter. Featuring a smooth surface, the grab bar is 30 inches long and has a satin finish to cut down on fingerprinting. The entire surface is buffed to ensure that there are no burrs or sharp edges. Securely welded to the unit, the mounting bracket is fabricated out of type-304, 9-gauge stainless steel.
