Just when you've settled into one cut on this smorgasbord of voices, styles and topics, you're sent off in a totally different direction ... sorry to leave the "old" behind, delighted to follow the new. A slyly silly country-and-western original (Eleven Galion Hot) shares the limelight with the finger-snapping Eat Your Fruit (à la the Beach Boys); a slowdance ballad (Something Special) gives way to a mariachi Mr. Fuzz. Imaginationstretching words abound, especially in the lyrical God's Dog (who just can't seem to keep from chasing the stars).
